Do you want to volunteer in a gallery?

Stour Valley Arts gallery in Ashford, 5 minutes from the train station, is looking for new volunteers to join their team.

Stour Valley Arts have a small group of supporters who help out as volunteers as and when opportunities arise. For example, volunteer’s work with us at launches of new art works commissioned in the forest, take on some day-to-day work in the office and help us prepare for exhibitions and conferences. Some volunteers perform a valuable role by getting involved in and supporting education workshops and accompany visits from schools and other groups. Our aim is to extend the range of our voluntary work and offer our volunteers an enjoyable all-round experience of supporting this small but ambitious arts organisation in a unique location.
Contact us at info@stourvalleyarts.org.uk for further information or if you are interested in volunteering with Stour Valley Arts.

Volunteering is a great way to work with diverse members of the public. You will get real life experience from inside a vibrant part of the arts world. Stour Valley Arts is recently open gallery so you can expect to be a part of a developing environment. Before they had their gallery space they were operation in King's Wood forest. The forest is still a central element of their activities. Opportunities for critique evenings, volunteer trips, volunteer blogs and workshops will be developed around the volunteers. It is a great way to find like minded and artistic people. They are really interested in hearing what you can bring to Stour Valley Arts.

Please contact info@stourvalleyarts.org.uk for volunteering opportunities.

Or you can contact me if you have any questions you'd like to ask. Elin Karlsson @ elin_785@hotmail.com.
